Learning to live in the light of God's grace and love is what has drawn me into the stillness and rest that Jesus offered when he said, "Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30). Long journeys are never easy, and deep truths are often hard found; this has been true in my own life. But through it all, my Savior's gentle heart has extended me nothing but love, mercy, and grace. As you read this blog, I trust that you will catch a glimpse of the gentle heart of Jesus, and be drawn into his stillness and rest.
